Daphne
I just wanted to say thank you to whoever first posted about the wonder of weetabix for sick chickens. We had an ill girl a week ago who was on meds, but she wouldn't eat anything we put out for her. But she did manage to nibble a bit of very gloopy weetabix with water for 2 days (thats all she'd eat) and although she then had very green and then very watery poos, she has made it back to something approaching normality. So, I am very grateful. I wouldn't have thought of that for myself, and I hadn't seen it as a top tip anywhere else; so although we know Weetabix in the long term is not a good idea, as a short term very important pick me up it really worked for us!
