Recommended Posts

2 hens that i have a black rock and a sussex cross have decided tonight to have a tiff, ive split them both up twice tonight,

would this be a a pecking order argument?

black rock is older than her, but both laying now.

any ideas i couldnt believe how b****y they could be towards each, other then go in the same house to sleep  the black rock let the sussex sqeeze past her to get through the door.

I can't help apart from saying that often when hens come into lay the pecking order changes. I've got two 14 month olds and have just got another 2 pol birds whom I'm trying to incorporate. hmm. Thank goodness for separate accomodation.

Needless to say, one of my existing girls is now nicknamed b**** troll!
