Margalot
Hello, I go away weekends in the nicer weather and have been away for the last 2 weekends. I am happy to say my girls have been fine, but I am worried about their water? thay have never taken to the super glug and have always had a traditional drinker(stands on the floor) When we got back this Sunday they had managed to fill the bottom of the drinker with aubiose and dirt, so didnt look as if there was nice water! i have just ordered the normal glug and another grub so they can have plenty of food/ drink. Will they take to the normal glug if they are used to their drinker, I would hate for them to dehydrate!
Olly
My experience has been that if they are offered an alternative to the SuperGlug, they will use it in preference - they probably can use it, but as you've given them another drinker they choose not to. I don't think they'll have any problem with the normal glug, as long as they can see there's water in it they will drink it. Mine generally prefer muddy puddles, stagnant water in flowerpot saucers etc if they can get it!
