Old Speckled Hen
Does any body have a Daphne in their garden? Is it difficult to grow? Thanks
chickenanne
I do! It's really easy, it just seems to get on with it without any particular interference: a bit of a mulch and a feed, watering, weeding, etc, but I don't do anything special. Daphne
I do - she's not difficult to grow, just keep that grass a-growing and those pellets a-coming and you too can have a large black feathery lump. Be careful, Daphnes are invasive My neighbour has the traditional variety with pale pink sweetly scented flowers. Its planted against a wire fence, about 4 feet high, been there for ever and requires no attention at all. In fact its in her chook run and is still going strong.
