We have had our cube for a few weeks now and when the delivery gut Roy put it together there were huge gaps around the top right and left edges. He agreed that they needed replacing and this was to happen today.

 

I have just got home and no one has changed them at all apparently George looked at it and said it wouldnt make a difference

 

Have spoken to Johannes who is going to look into it.

 

Having spent so much money on it and we really like it so do the chooks im really cross that it wasnt changed like we expected it to be.

 

Now am wishing we kept the eglu and got another one! at least we knew where we were with the eglu and it had no gaps!!!!!

Yes, I've got gaps. I posted a thread ages ago with photos of my gaps. I have readjusted various panels and brackets and it looks better but there are still gaps. However it doesn't appear to leak and for as long as it remains watertight then thats OK. How bad are the gaps?

We got ours today and we put it together (I say we but really the other half did the work while I looked on ) and we thought the gaps seemed pretty big in places too, especially on the roof. Also the front panel did not want to fit and it took a bit of struggling with a hammer and a screwdriver to slide it into the slots. My other half is an engineer who instals machinery and is used to solving problems and getting stuff to fit which is handy as I don't know if many people would have sorted it out. As you say they are not cheap so I did think it would be finished off abit better. Having said that, it is brilliant and makes the garden look fab so I am not moaning too much
