Hi again,

 

Im just wondering now where i could get hold of some chickens nr wigan i cant drive myself so it would either have to be a short ride away cos i would more than likely be persuading a friend to take me in their car to get them.Even if i manage to talk the hubby into doing it at the weekend he wouldnt really want to be driving that far either.

Hi,

 

not too much help, but we're in Wigan and we got our girls from Pimblott's Poultry... but they're based out towards Ormskirk. The other place I can think of that was mentioned when we got ours was in Frodsham (that's even further, sorry!)

 

This was a year ago so there may be someone closer now... have you looked in the classifieds in the Poultry press for breeders?

OOh thats super we actually live in Standish so Ormskirk isnt that far away at all,especially when we will just happen to be in the area when we visit my dad in Burscough.
