beergibbon
Hi It really saddens me but I'm going to have to get rid of my Miss Pepperpot and replace her with a new chicken as she is just too noisy for the area we live in. She makes a huge racket in the morning (I've posted about it on here before) and nothing I do will change it. As the mornings have been getting lighter it's started earlier and earlier and we (and presumably the neighbours as we have a small garden) are being woken before 6am. Little noise later in the day. I've asked friends and family if they can help but none of them are keen on having chickens. She is a very good layer of large to extra large eggs, is friendly and would suit a larger garden where noise will not be an issue. Looking for her to go ASAP and she obviously needs to go to a home that already has chickens so that she has company. She is approximately one year old as we got the Eglu last May. We live near Guildford. Thanks Neil
The 3 D's
Sorry to hear that you have to give away one of your chooks. I live in Godalming however i have neighbours all around me therefore the noise would be a problem here aswell. Sorry I cant help, if i lived out in the middle of know where then i would have loved to have her, but sadly i dont Sorry Matt
