MadMitch
Yesterday when I went to collect my eggs I found a broken egg in the nest box. There was no shell just a mash of egg. I checked my birds and one of them had a runny egg yellow/white leaky bottom. I popped my finger in and had a feel around but couldn't find anything. This morning she has gone in to lay twice and come out not laying. I have had another feel around but I can't find any shell or anything. Is it possible that she layed without a shell yesterday? Is there anything else I can do other than just keep an eye on her. She seems pretty normal and is eating and drinking as normal.
quickcluck
One of mine laid a few shell less eggs in a row. I've added some calcuim to the water to help. She was unwell for a few days also, antisocial, hunched not eating etc, but a course of Baytrill sorted that out toot sweet
