jman2007 Posted April 3, 2009 Share Posted April 3, 2009 Hi all. Just looking for some advice. One of my girls was a very intermittent layer last year and so far this year I have had no eggs. I am feeding her a diet of layers mash and s"Ooops, word censored!"s. Does anyone have any advise. My other girl is laying a good size egg every day. Egluntyne Posted April 3, 2009 Share Posted April 3, 2009 It might be a good idea to cut right back on the s"Ooops, word censored!"s, and keep her on the mash for a while to see if that helps. Egluntyne Posted April 4, 2009 Share Posted April 4, 2009 I would. I used Vermex for ages, then realised that my hens had worms. A costly mistake. Try**here** There is a 2.5% version and a 1% version for garden hens. The latter works out far more expensive. Saw lots of dead worms in their poo once they'd had it and I'd not seen evidence of them before. I now use it every 3 months.
