i have just moved house and have a fish pond with 7 or 8 koi carp in it.

 

can anyone help me as i have no idea how to look after them.

Wow! OK, has the pond got a filter going? (is there a current in the water?) It needs one as if it is stagnant the fish will get ill quickly as there won't be any way of removing their waste. They will eat koi pellets, which you can get at garden centres and larger pet shops. You will need to clean/maintain the filter but without knowing what kind it is this is hard to advise- the previous owners haven't left any instructions? How irresponsible of them! This forum is full of people who can give you great fishy advice, find the pond section and ask them:
