Chillicat Posted April 13, 2009 Share Posted April 13, 2009 Two days ago, our laid an egg which was odd shaped and larger than normal. The shell also looked as if it had been piped on and then set hard - I've seen some really weird eggs on this forum and understand that it happens. Do you think she's having a clear out and is preparing to go broody , or is that normal to have an odd one or two? I had this from too much calcium - i gave them a boost as we had a few soft shells - but had a few eggs that had extra lumps and bumps and one that looked like the elephant man!
