samabbey06 Posted April 13, 2009 Share Posted April 13, 2009 Hiya i have just purchased 2 more chicks and they are 4 weeks old ( so cute) and i have 2 2 year old chicks, any advice on the best way to bring them together, at the moment the little chick are seperated from the older ones but the older ones can see them, i just dont want a nasty site one morning and see that they have hurt them!!! any advice appreciated. Egluntyne Posted April 14, 2009 Share Posted April 14, 2009 Welcome to the forum. Please don't put them together till the babies are around 22 weeks or you will have a disaster on your hands. Articles for you to read up on the subject **here** and **here**. The 4 week old chicks will still need to be kept in a brooder for a few more weeks and gradually weaned off the heat.
