Does anyone know what might cause eggs to have pale yolks? They are usually nice and yellow as you'd expect, but I had a couple for breakfast this morning that were really pale and I didn't enjoy them as much as usual, despite them tasting fine!

 

We've just had the girls on Flubenvet for a week, so no extra treats to make sure they ate all their medicated pellets - could that be it? I noticed the shells were defintiely thinner than suual as well since I'd not been giving them their treat porridge with extra limestone flour in, hopefully that'll start improving soon therefore now they've finished their course of worming.

Hmm, not sure . There is mention of pale yolks here but don't think that's much help . Have they been getting greenery to eat? I think that's supposed to make the yolks yellower?

No, they've had nothing but pellets for the past week due to worming which I guess could explain it. Now they are getting some greens again as well as other treats, maybe it will sort itself out?
