4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Our two chickens lay eggs of about 65g normally, but today one of them laid a 98g egg! There was a bit of blood on it. Poor girl.

Hopefully she will have a break tomorrow as she hasn't had one in over a month.

Wow thats a big one, I've never had one that large before.

Well she hasn't had a break, but her next two eggs have been normal size. Both chickens seem happy and healthy.

we had a 97g egg 2 weeks ago, and a 102g egg this week. However, OH is now in the doghouse as he dropped this week's one - trying to put it in a saucepan of boiling water, it was too big to stay in the spoon and rolled down the front of the Aga and smashed on the floor. I nearly made him go out and apologise to the girls.
