4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Hiya

 

Im getting hens in a few weeks but worried about how to sort them out when my partner and I go away for weekends.

 

Ive been looking at getting an automatic pop hole opener on http://www.flytesofancy.co.uk/chickenhouses/VSB_Pophole_Door_Opener.html and wondered whether anyone here has one/had one/ and what they reckon to them?

The snag occurs when the door closes and one or two are left outside.

I have one and think it's great, especially on these light mornings.

My girls free range during the day but are in their run in the morning and evening - I set the closing time to after dark to ensure that everone is in the house by then.
