Is she broody?

Recommended Posts

My Polish bantam has been in the nest box for the majority of today. When I went to shut the chickens in tonight I took a look at her and she puffed up her feathers and shrieked at me. I picked her up much to her displeasure and she was sitting on her and her sisters eggs. I was told this breed rarely go broody but I'm sure she is. I'm now dreaming of all the exciting breeds of chicken I could use her to hatch!
