I took my cats to the vets and mentioned I needed some Flubenvet - by chance they had one small tub left - however I wondered if mine had a different strength as its marked as 1% - I was sure I saw somewhere on the forum that the strength was 2 or 2.5 % - Have I imagined it?

 

Also - further to the previous discussion of putting it in treats or thru the food - if the chooks don't eat all the (doctored)food one day - (I usually have been topping their food Grub up you see when its gettinga bit low so don't measure it out per bird or anything) do I s"Ooops, word censored!" it and start again with new doctored food every day?

 

 

My ex battery girls are all doing great and the feathers are starting to come back which is fabulous - they LOVE dandelion leaves and grapes!

The 1% is the Small Flock Variety.

The 2.5% is the Intermediate Keeper pack. Used to be called Gamekeepers. **2.5%**

 

The 2.5% works out much cheaper in the long run, but probably provides more than most of us would ever need before it expires.

Stupid question but will it be strong enough then - I am presuming the % is the strength - why would it be so different for a small flock than just a few chooks? Should I just follow the instructions - put a 6g scoop in their feed daily?

It will be fine.

 

With the 2.5% you have to use a very much smaller amount to achieve the same effect, that's all. :
