4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Hello

 

We currently have three girls and only one is laying at the mo.

 

We've had one of them for about 6 weeks and the other two for about a month. Blossom, the first one, was laying every day until about ten days ago when she became unwell and eventually passed a lash (strange rubbery faux egg thing!). She perked up after pasing it but hasn't laid since.

 

Poppy, one of the newer ones, was laying when we got her (according to the supplier) but has never laid here. She was very skittish and nervy until recently, but she has started crouching and allowing us to stroke her, so hopefully she'll start laying soon.

 

Rosie, the other newer one, is the only one who is laying right now and that's every other day, so out of three chickens we're getting about three or four eggs a week!

 

Does anyone know how long it might be before Blssom lays again or is that the end of her laying days?

If they're young, i.e. POL it takes them a while for their laying tackle to get into a routine. I had a hen who used to regularly take a month or two off but always came back into lay. I'm sure given time your girls will do the same.
