clucky clarke's Posted May 17, 2009 Share Posted May 17, 2009 Hi everyone, I am thinking about getting some ducks and just wandered will they put themselves to bed like my chickens do at night fall. Also, i have 13 chickens would you aim to put the ducks and chickens together eventually or keep them in separate pens. Guest Posted May 17, 2009 Share Posted May 17, 2009 ooh no ducks are not like chickens at all you need to be around to put them in and they are not as easy. They are bloooming messy and need water, I will only ever get ducks when I retire. I know ducks look cute and pretty but they are more time consumiing. In fact I think they are worse than a dog or a horse even(truthfully) Ducks need water(winter not so easy too).
