Tilly Bud
Hello everyone! I work in a children's toy/book shop in Bramhall and I was choosing books to review in the shop when I came across a brilliant chicken story! It's called Dora's Eggs by Julie Sykes. It's about a hen who lays 6 brown eggs and is very proud of them, she goes around the farm asking her other animal friends to come and see her eggs but they're all busy with their own babies - all of which are much cuter than Dora's brown eggs. When she finally returns to her hen house, feeling rather dejected, she finds her eggs are turning into beautiful yellow chicks, with all the qualities of all the other animal's babies! Just thought i'd let all you chicken lovers with children out there know about it anyway! x
