we are having our WIR built by my Dad and are hopefully getting 4 ex batts and maybe 2 silkies to go in it.

Just wondering what you all have in your run as we are trying to keep costs down to a minimum.

we have also seen galley pots which look good, any experience of these?

I don't have the answer but my WIR is only 2 weeks away, so I would be interested in the response, as I've been looking at the plastic feeders and drinkers.

I've mentioned on other threads that my 'feeders' are Tescos' peg baskets lined with large margarine containers. The baskets cost £2 (inc pegs ! ) and have a handle with hook that hooks neatly onto the weld mesh at whatever height you want. The basket has holes in the side which is why I line it with a marge container. My 6 just happen to eat a full containers worth of food a day , perfect !
