Anyone succesfully hatched eggs using a Polish broody?

One of our Polish girls has become extremely broody and I am considering taking advantage of the situation and using her to hatch some eggs. However I have read that Polish hens don't often sit for the full duration or if they do , that they make extremely poor mothers often attacking the newly hatched chicks. I was wondering if anyone else has used a Polish to hatch eggs.
