julia55
I decided yesterday was the right time to introduce my 6 new ex batts to my 3 existing girls. They've been eyeing each other up through the netting for a week now. I tentatively removed the batts run and at first they stayed exactly where they were in an imaginary run!! Eventually they decided they 'were free' and had a good wander around. Apart from one small fight with my ginger ranger all went really really well. It was actaully one of the batts that started the fight but after a soaking from a handy water pistol they went their separate ways. For the rest of the day the 3 old girls stayed in one section of the garden and the 6 newbies stayed in the other section. I'm now going to let them free range all day together and whichever house they choose to go to at night - leave them there. If it means running two houses so be it.....
