Hi All

 

I think that the girls have got worms. Daisy has done a really runny poo today and I saw something worm-like wiggling in it. It was about 1cm long and about 1mm wide. What do you think? They are about to have their third dose of vermex tonight and I'm hpoing that this will get rid of them. Can we still eat the eggs if they have got worms. They don't seem to be unduly affected, they look healthy and are eating normally.

It does sound like worms but yes you can eat the eggs

 

Lots of people do not rate Vermex and use Flubenvet instead

If I managed to get hold of some flubenvet would it be ok to give it to them straight after the vermex? I think I'll give it a week and see what happens?

It would be fine straight after but it might be worth leaving a couple of days in between to let any tummy problems settle
