What's a lash egg?

Excuse the possibly simple question... I've been reading through these posts and looking at all the different sorts of eggs that can come out. Softies, eggbound, doble yolkers all make sense, but what's a lash egg? I've seen a couple of pictures, but what exactly is it and what causes it? Is it anything to worry about if a hen lays one or is it just a blip?
