Dawno
Hi I'm new, just ordered a green cube with the extended run. Ive been looking at various different breeds, the ones i've chosen are large breeds, ( Faverolle,Orpington & Sussex) how many chickens should I buy or should I look for smaller chickens. I have never kept chickens before.

Olly
Welcome Dawno, don't worry most of us were novices until we got our first Eglu or Cube! You can find lots of advice on here. The thread that Egluntine has pointed you to is a good start. A Cube with an extension should hold four or five comfortably - I definitely wouldn't get fewer than three hens, it's a good number to start with and then if anything happens to one of them, you don't have a lonely chicken.
