Chucky Mama
Monica one of my bluebelles is still broody but only spends some days broody and then only part of the day broody. She is too much of a piggy to stay on the nest all of the time. Can this go on for ever? It has been possilbly 2 months now. She is a fine healthy weight and the pot keeps being used as a threat but to no avail.
chelsea
My cochins are nearly broody the whole of the summer from March to September. They do have periods of what I call "semi broody" where they still eat and drink and do some chickeny things but have to be prompted to do this. I just keep turfing them out of the nest box and up from their pancake position to make them move. They are hardened broodies the pair of them
