4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Poor Louis has a very bad leg. Today, the ducks & chooks were out free ranging in the garden, & we hav a child gate across the back door so they can't get into the house. Never had a problem with it before but today the cat tried to jump it, knocked it down & it caught louis' leg. poor thing, couldn't move, wasn't sure what had been hit at first but have picked him up & he has a very swollen ankle & a flesh wound. phoned the vet & they were shut, phoned another who wouldn't see him but gave me another number & this one sees 'exotic' pets so i hope he will be able to help. Poor Louis, i feel awful, needless to say i have removed the gate

Going to take him now, i know he will be really upset being separated from Harry even.

Ouch!!! £55 and some anti-inflammatories later Loius is much better. No breaks, just swollen, phew!

Its times like this i wish i lived in the country & had a farm vet - the fact that a duck is an 'exotic' pet pushes the price up LOL!

I can assure you that farm vets aren't any cheaper!!
