I've just been given a sack of this feed as a friend's chooks refuse to eat pellets, fussy madams .......anybody used it? Can't see an ingredients label on the sack........

I bought a bag of this by mistake. It does look lovely and wholesome with all of the peas etc in it. I worried that using it instead of pellets may make laying go down or start them laying softies but they have been fine. I have used half a bag so far with no problems but I have just bought some pellets and have mixed it half and half with the complete as although there were no problems I am just a bit twitchy about the reduction in the amount of pellets (plus I have a chook moulting very heavily at the moment).
