4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Whenever I go out to my hens or look out the window, one of them is sitting down. The other doesnt. When I go up to them she gets up. Was just hoping it might be the signs of her first egg. Hope its not serious.

I've only had them 3 days and am new to chickens.

Is this normal?

If she seems ok then I wouldnt worry too much

 

If she is puffed up and pulls her head down to her shoulders and/or closes her eyes all the time then there may be something wrong

 

one or two of my hens are very lazy and will lie down even to eat

Its ok to worry sometimes! When you know their personalities you just know when something is up so it does get easier
