Mrs Webmuppet Posted October 16, 2009 Share Posted October 16, 2009 Help! I bottled some of the pears from the garden this morning using the Mulled Pears recipe in the River Cottage book. I have got them on the side cooling but the pears have shrunk a lot and I now have about a two inch gap between the top of the liquid and the rim of the jar. Will they be alright?
