Pecky still seems to be eating when I turf her out of the eglu and is having a daily treat of tuna. I've mixed poultry spice in with all their food so anything she eats has extra in it!! She just seems to be huddling round and standing still a lot. Comes out of the eglu first thing and then either goes back in or stands behind a bush. Lots of new spiky bits coming up though but her old feathers look a sight! Just wondering how long this goes on for or whether I should worry that it's something else???.... Chucky Mama Posted November 12, 2009 Share Posted November 12, 2009 My recent moulter looked awful for about 3- 4 weeks, varying how pathetic she looked on a daily basis. She is now a sight to to behold with the most beautiful shiny feathers. Quite a dramatic transformation. I did worry though when she was moping and I gave her more treats, especially mealworms.
