Can anyone recommend reputable breeders near St Albans?? Just recovering from our first loss through a fox attack and want to give our remaining girls some company.

They have a great selection of hybrids. Their Pure Breeds are to die for....not sure if they still have any for sale though....as they have certain release dates for PB stock and I have seen people queing to get in on those days!!!

Thornes is certainly your most local, however, depending on what you want, they have very few of some breeds.

 

They are superb for hybrids, however, Pure breeds are few and far between.

 

I ended up getting my pure breeds from suffolk . Well worth it in my oppinions, long drive though.

I certainly do recommend them, absolutley fantastic. Every breed i could have ever wanted, and they were superb Hens too. I plan to go back next year and get some more too.
