sandyhas3chucks Posted December 3, 2009 Share Posted December 3, 2009 well I got her down to one a day even if the one was softees approx 1 in 3.....(1 good 2 soft) then she stopped althogether I think (they are playing musical fav nests so hard to be 100% sure. ther's the moult, then found visitors on some so sprayed the lot, then there are the worms. Amnyway the last 4 days or so she has ben sitting on the nest... nothing... So I been keeping a beady eye on her, then this mornig her crop was not empty and she was drinking lots a clear was dripping back out of mouth when she bent down. On the nest , told OH she was to be kept totally apart and he wasn't to take her eye off her if she came out(incase dropped a softee. (me mentally planning trip to ve for block as previous and noticed her bot gettting bigger)SHE LAID A FLIPPIN OSTRICH EGG! 100 GRAMS PHEW what a big relief all around! Ok i have read the whoppers others have laid so not such a big deal. my smallest girl lays 57 grams and the previous bigger ones 75 grams. these girls know how to worry us!
