rufusrooster Posted February 10, 2010 Share Posted February 10, 2010 came home yesterday to a 1st egg from ??? perfectly shaped lightly tinted 41gms with a somewhat glossy fininsh, i have my susspiciouns but just wish i knew for certain, really frustrating, nothing today to back it up. i'm certain its not the barnebar - not ready yet pretty sure its not the black hybrid crested thingy - after all she hasnt laid yet even though she's over a year old, and not crouching. GLW - is crouching, possibly her but my favourite is - Light Sussex, is crouching now and has been seen a few times now tucking into the grit/oyster shell, what size eggs do light sussex lay though ? 41gm seems a bit small for quite a large bird, even though its a 1st ?
