OH & I were out for dinner last night and I was eavesdropping on the conversation on the table next to us (as I always do ) they were talking about their favourite cookbooks and one lady was enthusing over "Delicious - 5 of the best" - I found it today in WH Smith on offer for £6 instead of £25 so I had to buy it (it would have been rude not to ). It looks lovely, there are loads of delicious sounding recipes and every one has a full page colour photo - which is always a good thing for me

Sally, the title of the post made me smile... for one moment I thought you'd got very hungry and actually eaten the cookbook!

 

Seems like a nice book, I like having pictures in cookbooks, I recently bought two lovely cookbooks that have great ideas in them, but hardly any pictures, which is a real shame.

I buy the magazine quite often as they always have a few new recipes that i would like to try. I made some tomato and chilli pesto before christmas for the school Fayre and it got rave reviews and have tried lots of others out on friends. I will keep a look out for this one!
