Leicester_H
Copied this from another thread - hopes thats OK I also do homemade peck-a-blocks (mix together one egg, some flour and some water to a thickish paste, stir in seeds, mash, mealworms, raisins etc, mould in tin foil and bake in the oven on a low heat for about 1 hour til hard) which I string up in the run. Does anyone else have any favourite recipes for this type of thing please ? How often can they have them ? I just want something (else!!) to releive the boredom a bit - so the longer it takes them to eat it, the better. Thanks, H
beulah59
That's pretty much what I do ... an egg, 4oz flour and a tablespoon of water then mix in anything they like to eat ... corn, pellets, mealworm, oats etc Bake really slowly until firm/hard Except next time, I'm going to put it in a doughnut tin to make rings so I can hang them round the place ...
