I have a cover over my run at the moment, but it's started to leak and doesn't cover the sides of the run properly, so I am thinking of investing in a tarpaflex clear glass tarpaulin.

 

I have done a hasty calculation of the tarp size I would need to cover my run (going up one side, across the top and down the other side) and I think I need something around 280x130cm. The smallest tarpaflex is 2x2.4m

 

My question is - as it is going to be too long for my run, so would it work if I fold the end back? Or cut it shorter myself? Other than that could anyone suggest somewhere to buy custom sized tarps? Preferably the same quality as tarpaflex.

 

Also - will it create an oven in the summer?

Just be aware that they are around 30cm smaller than the stated size, due to the way the hems are created (you can see the shortfall on the length in the picture below).

 

I got mine from AllPlas (http://www.allplaz.com/acatalog/Clear_Tarps.html) as Tarpaflex were out of stock of the 2m x 4.5m version I wanted at the time.

 

In the summer you roll up the tarps to stop condensation
