Chook n Boo Mum
I've only just caught up with this, poor Charlie and poor you too (congratulations on the bub by the way )...I had an old Lab who had to have both of her eyes removed within a month.....two weeks either side of DS being born of all the perfect times to choose Her lenses had both flipped and were infected, so she was definitely better of without them, she had been practically blind for several years due, I think, to too much inbreeding in her line She adapted very quickly to total blindness and our other girl acted as her eyes, leading her around She went on to live another 8 years, so if the eye is removed it really isn't the end of the world. You will not believe the number of people who will, if it does happen, say to you "can he see?".......errrrr no the eyelids are stitched together I hope things turn out well for Charlie, huge {{{hugs}}} to you both, Sha x
