foreveryoung
i use or shall i say used an eglue for 3 indian runner ducks and on the odd occations the mallard call duck would join them... they did seem quiet comfy in it!! i know its a different bread but hope this helps
Lesley
The Eglu itself would probably be big enough for three ducks as long as they have a larger run area and not just the attached run.
fluffyhen
Thanks guys, that info helps. The ducks/hens would be free -ranging so the eglu would be for sleeping in only really.
Mayo
Heaven forfend that I should dare disagree with Lesley ; all I can add to the discussion is that I have only ever had two muscovies; and, when fully grown, I'm certain they would have loved to spend the night in an eglu, but wouldn't have had a hope of getting through the door !!! You can disagree with me anytime I hadn't really thought of the size of the door - and I've only had experience of Campbells in an Eglu
fluffyhen
Thanks again folks.....am taking it all on board.Maybe I'll go for the battery hens and give them a good retirement. After all the muscovies already have a good free-ranging home!
