Chicken boarders

I am a newbie chicken owner (just 6 weeks) so forgive this question if it seems daft.

 

All my 4 girls are now laying ( ) and to start with they seem to lay at a different time each time, for instance my buff sussex Maude laid one at say 11am, the next day she would lay at perhaps 1pm and so it went on. She has now been laying for 3 weeks and for the last 3 days she has laid an egg before 7am each morning.

 

My question is do chickens eventually settle down and lay at the same/similar time of the day each time? I realise she could just be laying them late at night after they have gone to bed or before I let them out of their coop at 7am but previously she would have done one which I would collect at 7am, and the next would be 10am so it seems strange for 3 on the bounce. It is a wooden coop and fairly dark in there and I cannot hear any noise when up at 6am from them.

no question is daft!

they will lay at differant times as it takes about 25-26 hours to make an egg it also needs 16+ hours of sunlight/daylight
