abwsco Posted March 13, 2010 Share Posted March 13, 2010 Well, we girded our loins earlier on to a) catch the dorking cross and then b) fit the ring. Fitting the second ring wasn't too bad but we've had to take it off her as in under 10 minutes all the other chickens were pecking at her enmasse and chasing her round the garden. You might notice I say second ring. I got the first one in her beak lobsided and she swallowed it before I could grab it Given that we've had to take plastic sheeting off the side of the run as some of them had a penchant for eating that I'm assuming she'll be ok but will keep an eye on her.
