meezers Posted March 15, 2010 Share Posted March 15, 2010 Muppet the Silkie is broody again. She was doing the angry pancake when I turfed her out of the nestbox this morning. The others were all free ranging, so I plonked her on the path outside the coop while I closed the pop hole, she was NOT impressed and took her temper out on my terrier who was minding her own business nearby. Muppet flew at her and pecked her several times on her head. My terriers reaction was priceless- she hunts and has caught pheasants before now, but this tiny chook reduced her to a quivering wreck in seconds, she cowered infront of muppet and then ran to hide behind me ! think she'll be giving my moody little chook a very wide berth in future.
