What colour egg gray silkie x pekin bantams lay?

So the rest of my pekin ladies have started to lay, and i am very please with the result, 3 pekins, 8 eggs in 4 days.. Anyway :roll: ..

So while im thinking, my little pekin x silkie gray girls (JOHN AND EDWARD ;)) are slightly younger but we have been told they should lay in a few weeks, but do you know what colour eggs they will lay? Is it up to the colouring? up to the chicken?
