Olly
I've heard via my local group that Ted Hooper died on Saturday in hospital. He was the author of several books on beekeeping, and was well known nationally and particularly in Essex, where he was a lecturer at Writtle Agricultural College before his retirement. I have his 'Guide to Bees & Honey' and it's a really good book. Several of the people who have taught/mentored me were taught beekeeping by Ted. v8landy
But how many of us would loved to live on the way he does via his books? I have never met the man, but feel like I know him.
