Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Yesterday morning i found one of my hens with a not quite normal looking wing. It is being held away from her body by approx an inch. I have picked her up and had a look, extending it gently, she showed no signs of distress, she is still laying, eating, running around and getting up into the cube.

 

I wondered if she may have broken it, but as she didn't mind me picking her up and is generally looking well, I'm not so sure.

 

I didn't really want to visit my local vet - was there last week with a duck, they didn't have a clue really, she had had too much attention by the drake..... another story.

 

Any suggestions?

blow me down - checked on ducks and hens this morning and Blossoms wing is almost back to normal!

 

Whats that all about???

My Amberstar often walks about with her wings held out a bit...scared me silly the first time she did it!
