Emz24
Hello everyone! I havent had any eggs from my two girls for 2 days now. We have had one egg from both of the girls everyday since we got them at the end of November last year. I dont think they have gone broody because there arent any eggs in the nesting box and they dont stay in there for ages like they said they do... Any ideas??? Help please! staceychristie
Are they free ranging? May they have laid somewhere else? Poos, Feed, and drinking ok? Feel their abdomen (between the end of the keel and their vent, is it squishy or hard? Vent feathers clean? Wormed recently? Stacey
Emz24
Yeah they are free range, they are out of the run for a lot of the day, I havent found any eggs around the garden though. Their water and food is clean and I clean out the run and house every day. What does happens with their vent?? Thank you! Emz24
staceychristie
Their vent feathers can get poop on them if they get the runs, then there is also a risk that there might be an infestation of mites, flea type ticks etc. Look at the base of the feathers where they go into the skin for white egg like deposits.
