rvwarren Posted May 19, 2010 Share Posted May 19, 2010 I have had my chickens for one week now, one of them seems to be having a problem with her eye. She is in the last day only opening one eye. Egluntyne Posted May 19, 2010 Share Posted May 19, 2010 Sounds as if she might be in pain, due maybe to an injury. I'd wrap her in a towel, and then examine it carefully. A gentle bathe with a weak salt water solution or cold tea will soothe it and will give you a chance to have a look at it. It might be wise precaution to take her to the vet.
