Nucs from Omlet

Recommended Posts

Has anyone on the forum ordered a Nuc from Omlet this year? If so, have you received it yet?

I ordered mine back in February and the delivery date keeps slipping out, and my latest enquiry has been unanswered for a few days now. I understand it wasn't a great winter for Nucs and bees in general but things have been much better in recent weeks.

TBH I'm getting a little frustrated - if it wasn't for Omlet's reputation and previous great customer service I'd actually be extremely worried.

Input appreciated.

Hi Soupy...

The short answer is probably not - our bee suppliers have been extremely reluctant to release the bees for delivery due to the cold winter and also because it's taken such a long time for the queens to be mated and instead of sending you an queen which has not been mated which would probably result in a weak colony they have put the delivery of bees back by several weeks.

However, I can happily inform you now if you have pre-ordered a colony of Bees from Omlet we are starting to deliver these within the next week or two. If you have not already had someone from Omlet contact you, please can I ask you to send an email to Johannes (johannes@omlet.co.uk) and he will schedule in your delivery.

Again we are sorry for the delay in getting your colony out to you, but we just wanted to ensure they got the best start in in life...

If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me or give me a call at the office...

Regards,
