kirstenelisa Posted May 31, 2010 Share Posted May 31, 2010 Hi everyone, Just thought I would ask some advice. We have 9 hens a mix of hybrids. All are laying very well except my 2 blue egg layers. Main problem is Nugget a Cotswold legbar. She is about 18 months old and has always laid really well sometimes with enormous blue eggs. However she has not laid now for about 3 weeks. She seems fine, not broody, no molt and not hiding eggs. Also have a newish arrival about 4 months ago, a heritage Skyline " The judge' , she started laying lovely small blue eggs for about a week and also stopped for about 2 weeks. She has laid a couple in the last week, but not very consistently. All the hens get the same organic pellets and oyster grit and they have a very large area where the roam, it is part of a field which we move them around.
